Behind Texni Labs is one person.

Artem Makarov, Munich: Gesellenbrief as an Elektroniker, then software, data and design. The order explains the studio.

I’m Artem Makarov — developer, designer and automation engineer in one person. Texni Labs is deliberately a one-person studio: whoever works with me talks to the person who designs, builds and ships. No handovers between trades, no friction losses, no agency chain — one clearly scoped brief, one person responsible.

My benchmark comes from industry: in a previous employed role I worked on industrial plant programming in the wind-energy field — where software is not allowed to work “most of the time”. I bring that care into every project, from a trade business to a data tool.

Texni comes from τέχνη — the Greek word that means craft and art at once. The red chimera is its heraldic beast: one body, many natures. Web, automation, data, design, software — different limbs of the same animal.

The Staff

“Behind Texni Labs is one person.” That statement is incomplete.

  1. Personnel file 01

    Lilu

    In service since
    2023
    Origin
    Animal shelter
    Position
    Interrupt handling
    Method
Jumps onto the laptop the moment it rests on a lap and occupies the keyboard. Attention is not negotiable.
    Temperament
Two states. The transition condition is unknown.
    Note
Bites. Is revered regardless. Not a contradiction — the contract.
  2. Personnel file 02

    Farah

    In service since
    2024
    Origin
    Animal shelter
    Position
    Materials testing
    Method
Dismantles pencils and ballpoint pens. Repeated assaults on the display.
    Finding
No writing instrument has passed. The display is still pending.

Unsupervised access

When the operator leaves the workstation, the keyboard is occupied. No records of these sessions exist. The suspicion of crypto transfers cannot be substantiated.

Lilu takes absence badly. The longer it lasts, the clearer the verdict.

He is the reason this studio has no office.

The cats never leave the house either.

Two natures

Artem sits on the kitchen floor among disassembled electronics, Lilu and Farah beside him.

Sounds like someone you’d want on it?

Tell me briefly what it’s about — I usually reply within one working day.
