Colophon
This site is the work sample.
What you see here is not a shop window for the work — it is the work. Below is how this site is built, what that means for you, and what each decision cost.

Every decision has a price
-
Built static, no CMS
For you
The page arrives as a finished file — instantly there, and there is no database for anyone to take over.
Price
No click-panel. Every change goes through the build — that is, through me.
-
No analytics, no banner
For you
No consent dialogue, no tracking across pages. You read here unobserved.
Price
I do not know what you read. If you want me to know, you have to write.
-
Type served from my own house
For you
Not one character goes to a foreign server — not to Google either.
Price
Two families instead of fifty. Discipline instead of choice.
-
The spatial work runs here, not elsewhere
For you
No model from a foreign CDN. Scenes start only once in view and stop the moment they leave it — your phone is not computing in the background.
Price
Space costs kilobytes and labour. So it stands only where it explains something.
-
Five languages, co-equal
For you
No second class: every language has its own addresses, its own text, its own preview images.
Price
Every change of wording is five changes. This site grows slowly — on purpose.
-
Built accessible
For you
Keyboard, zoom, screen reader, an old phone — and every motion can be stopped.
Price
Every effect needs a switch and a silent twin. Two versions instead of one.
-
Checked in the build, not afterwards
For you
What you see went through the same checks I build into your project: tests, an accessibility audit, security headers.
Price
The build is slower and sometimes red. Deliberately — a red build beats a broken page.
-
Built with AI assistance
For you
That is why a one-person studio delivers this depth. And it is why I know where the line runs: models that work with your data run locally, at my desk.
AI without data leakage — read onPrice
The responsibility stays mine. Nothing stands here that I have not checked myself.
What does get stored
A single entry: switch between light and dark above, and your browser remembers that choice locally, on your device — it never reaches me. On top of that the host may set a technical security cookie; it guards against abuse and needs no consent. That is all.
Read it in the privacy policyThanks
This site stands on other people’s work: Stack Sans Notch and Golos Text (SIL Open Font License), Three.js and Astro (MIT licence). The rest — text, design, code and the model of the chimera — is mine.
